Divi Blockchain Update & Support Guide
For those interested in the recent advancements of the Divi Blockchain, this guide elaborates on notable updates, with a focus on Masternodes and Validator Nodes, also referred to as a Cold Validator Vaults(Staking Vaults) or Hot Desktop Stakers. While Divi Desktop offers user-friendly tools for interaction with the Divi Blockchain, remember that the Divi Blockchain's core essence is its community of coin owners, like you. It stands as an independent, open-source initiative, powered by your participation and contributions to the ecosystem.
Important Changes As of August 23rd: Divi Foundation
- A significant upgrade to the Divi Blockchain was implemented to enhance its strength and foster utility.
- The previous dual roles of Validator Mining Blocks (staking) and Masternode (passive re-validation) have been modified.
- Masternodes' governance was removed, transitioning its responsibilities to the new and active Validator Vaults. This change aims to make Divi Blockchain more robust and versatile.
- If you had a Masternode and received a hosting cancellation message, this is because Masternodes are no longer a part of the protocol.
Dismantling Your Masternode:
- Launch Divi Desktop and let it synchronize.
- Go to the Masternode Tab.
- Once your Masternodes appear as not running, look for the "dismantle or unsubscribe" button on the right and click it.
- A new window will pop up with several options. Select "dismantle".

Run a Validator Node: Opt for the HOT staking method on your Desktop using the staking slider. Keep in mind, this approach demands that both your computer and the Divi Desktop remain operational 24/7.
While Divi Desktop delivers straightforward options for engagement, users still have the freedom to manually deploy a vault. This demands a commitment to self-learning and hands-on management. Although the Divi Foundation intends to release informative articles in the future, Divi Desktop simplifies the process with its user-friendly interface.

As we delve into the new distribution details, it's crucial to spotlight the amplified rewards for our hard-working Validators. With Masternodes phased out, Validators now take center stage. In essence, Validators will now keep all the fruit of their labor. This transition means that your dedication will be rewarded even more generously than before, marking dramatic change in your beneficial participation and work.
Prepaid Hosting & Vault Deployment:
We officially ended our long term prepaid hosting options (12Month, 6Month, and 3Month) in October 2022, as this option was no longer possible. However, we've noticed that several users have been running their masternodes under these plans. As a reminder, subscriptions are managed by coin owners through their Divi Desktop, and we had previously advised updates in this regard.
- If you were still operating your Masternode under a legacy prepaid hosting plan, we kindly request that you transition to Stripe as your primary payment method when setting up and paying for your Vault. After completing this step, please contact us so we can help apply any appropriate prorated credits or adjustments to your Vault configuration, by a Vault Concession through Stripe. Monthly plans need not worry, this is only concerning Legacy Long Term Subscriptions.
