Transaction Fees
On Divi Blockchain, a Transaction Fee is paid for processing a transaction.
Transaction Fees serve two essential purposes when it comes to Divi's Blockchain.
Security
Fees are spam prevention. Think about Email, where it has no fees and lots of spam. Divi has a fee, albeit small, to prevent spam attacks making a large scale costly to implement.
Economics
The fees used in spam prevention on Divi's Blockchain are not rewarded to anyone and are burned during the transaction. Fee burning creates a small deflationary event for the benefit of the economics of the coin. Burning fees is good for the economy.
Cost
Since we are talking about currencies where information is stored digitally, fees are calculated with KB (kilobytes). The cost is minimal, and your wallet will calculate them for each transaction. It is calculated at .0001 x KB size of the transaction(s)(qty of) when using the Divi Wallet or Divi Desktop. The Divi Wallet and Divi Desktop Application have a maximum possible fee of 100 DIVI.
