Why? For your protection
Causes:
- Unintended hard shutdown
- Unmanaged operating system (Windows, Mac) update.
- Network connection failures
- Automatic Power Preservation
- Allowing Sleep Mode on your computer.
A sync opportunity usually appears after a restart of the Divi Desktop Application. The daemon (engine) will always protect you and require fresh sync.
Not managing may cause corruption of other vital programs and wallet files. Follow the suggested process to fix the occasional (one in a while) sync hurdle.
- Shutdown Divi Desktop (exit completely)
- Click the "X" in the top corner of the application
WINDOWS MAC - Click the "Exit the application (close altogether)
- Click the "X" in the top corner of the application
- RESTART your PC/MAC computer
WINDOWS MAC - Restart Divi Desktop
- If the PRIMER window pops up skip to step #8
otherwise, proceed to step #4
- If the PRIMER window pops up skip to step #8
- Open Settings
- Open Maintenance
- Confirm or put a check in "automatic primer restore"
- Click Clear Cache (be patient) takes a couple of minutes
- The primer restore option will pop up and click the "restore" button
- This could take up to 40 minutes so enjoy the time Primer is working.
* A standard consensus sync without the convenience of the primer can take between 1 to 8 hours depending upon the computer, and connections.
