Divi Desktop Application needs to have access to the internet to sync and manage your coins. Windows Defender Firewall blocking Divi Desktop from accessing the internet will cause an inability to sync and manage coins.
Don't worry! We have instructions to remedy this.
Following the below instructions will set up your computer to allow Divi Desktop Application to communicate through Windows Defender Firewall to sync and manage your coins.
- Open Windows Settings
- Click the Windows icon and start typing the word "Settings" or type in your Windows Search Bar.
- Click the Window Settings App icon
- Search for Windows Defender Firewall
- Enter the word "firewall" in the search bar
- In the results locate and click "Windows Defender Firewall"
- On the left, click, "Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall"
- Allow Apps
- Click Change Settings
- Click Allow another app..
- Click Add
- In the browse, window, left pane, select this PC
- Paste the below path into the file name area
C:\Program Files\Divi Desktop\Divi Desktop.exe
- Then click open
- Paste the below path into the file name area
- Now click Network Types
- Confirm / Add Network Types
- Confirm or place check in the Public and Private options.
- Click OK
- Click Add (to add this application to Windows Defender)
- Click Allow another app.. (Part 2)
- Click Add
- In the browse, window, left pane, select this PC
- Paste the below path into the file name area but change the path where it says {username} to match the username you login with on your computer.
C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Divi Desktop\divid\unpacked
- Then click open
- Paste the below path into the file name area but change the path where it says {username} to match the username you login with on your computer.
- Now click Network Types
- Confirm / Add Network Types
- Confirm or place check in the Public and Private options.
- Click OK
- Click Add (to add this application to Windows Defender)
- Close Windows Defender Allowed Apps Window
You may now restart Divi Desktop Application and Windows Defender Firewall will not be blocking your ability to sync.
